Project Update
Construction of the new production line and state of the art warehouse at Coca-Cola Amatil’s (CCA) Briens Road Northmead manufacturing facility is nearing completion.
CCA has continued to work closely with the local community to resolve issues relating to changes to the Briens Road site. We remain committed to keeping residents informed and to listening to their concerns. A dedicated phone line and email address remain in place, and a regular CCA community newsletter continues to be distributed to local homes to update residents on how the project is progressing.
Community Benefits Program
In late 2007, CCA began a period of consultation with the local community to identify how best to proceed with its Community Benefits Program.
The Program outlines a number of initiatives for the local Northmead area and will be realised over a ten year period. Key features will include:
- Extensive improvements to Arthur Phillip Park
- The ongoing rehabilitation of the Toongabbie Creek and the Redbank walking track
- Two new local arts and culture programs.
